North Brisbane Lapidary Club
The club has been in existence for over 33 years, the last 14 in the same location.
Albert Bishop Park, Nudgee Road, Nundah, Queensland Australia.
We currently have about 103 members with over half our members being retired. We have recently upgraded our grinding equipment with the addition of two 6 wheel Nova diamond machines. Three Faceting machines are also available for members to use. Silverwork has an active following from a small dedicated band of members.
Workshop sessions are held on:
Mondays from 7.30pm to 9.30pm;
Wednesdays from 9.30am to 12.30 pm
Thursdays from 7.30pm to 9.30 pm
Fridays from 7.30pm to 9.30 pm.

There is generally a speaker on subjects as varied as jewellery making, minerals, facetting, lapidary, geology and gold-panning. Field trips are organized to collect minerals and materials for cutting and polishing.
